Lake Forest College is a place to study, work, and live. Students participate in a variety of activities. They join the faculty in the governing of the College through participation in committees and representation on the Board of Trustees. Student writers and performers showcase their talents on "WMXM," the College FM radio station, "The Stentor" student newspaper, literary magazines, chorus and instrumental ensembles, and theater groups. Honorary societies enjoy active student participation as do other special-interest clubs. The College provides and maintains a comprehensive intramural and intercollegiate athletic program. There are three national fraternities and five national sororities, all housed within the residence halls. All students have equal opportunity to take advantage of the richness of the College's programs.
Some of the lasting memories you’ll take with you after your years at Lake Forest will be about the friendships and activities you experienced here. We recognize over 50 student clubs and organizations to fit any student’s interest. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can start a new club or organization and seek student government recognition.
